Not a Trump’s Wall but a Hadrian’s

Hadrian’s Wall is a Roman defensive fortification in the North of Britain a common misconception is that Hadrian’s Wall marks the boundary between England and Scotland. It is further South running  73 miles long crossing Britain from Wallsend on the River Tyne in the East to Bowness on Solway in the West , it was said to be the most famous frontier in the Roman Empire.  Today we drove to near Carlile and then back towards Wallsend  following the route of the wall East stopping and viewing many bits of the wall and some of the forts alone the route.
