Yellow horned-poppy

this plant  can be seen on shingle banks and beaches, and flowers between the months of June to September. A protected plant since 1981 it has distinctive rosettes of grey – green leaves and large lemon flowers. The flowers are followed by very unusual curleded pods  that can grow up to 30 cms long
