Finding cuttlebones on the strand line brings back memories of childhood walks on the seashore.
Cuttlefish are marine animals of the order Sepiida. They belong to the class Cephalopoda, which also includes squid, octopuses, and nautiluses. Cuttlefish have a unique internal shell, the cuttlebone. They are able to rapidly change colour this is often seen when they became threatened. These animals were at the Anglesey Sea Zoo.
