Penrhyn Castle is a country house  built as a mock  castle in Llandegai, Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales, in the form of a Norman castle.The present building dates to between 1822 and 1837. It’s keep reminds me of the Norman towers seen at Rochester castle and Porchester Castle.
