History in the stones.

Anglesey North Wales is rich in early history touring the area has given us an overview of some of these sites.

Around 5000 years old the Lligwy burial chamber has a low squat appearance, its massive capstone, which is estimated to weigh some 25 tons.

Din Lligwy a small village of well-preserved stone-built huts in an enclosure dating from the Romano-British period.



Penrhos Feilw Standing Stones Two stones standing to a height of 10 feet , probably dating to the earlier Bronze Age.
